Wreaths For Tulsa – Wreaths Across America

Wreaths For Tulsa, Wreaths Across America

our fallen U.S. veterans.

those who serve.

your children the value of freedom.

Wreaths for Tulsa:

Through out the year our cadets raise funds, with the help of Sons of the American Revolution, Daughters of the American Revolution, and your donations, for our Wreaths For Tulsa campaign.  Our efforts mirror those of countless other squadrons across the nation, to lay wreaths on veterans graves as a part of Wreaths Across America.  The ongoing goal for Wreaths For Tulsa is to lay a Christmas wreath on every veteran’s grave at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.  Floral Haven currently has nearly 4000 veteran graves deserving of our diligence in remembering, honoring, and teaching our youth to continue to serve those who have so faithfully served us.

We would like to invite you, your family, and friends to experience the ceremony with us on Saturday, December 16th, 2017 from 10:30am-1:30pm. There will be guest speakers and members of each branch of the military, past and present, joining us to give thanks.

Seven ceremonial wreaths will be placed to remember all soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines who served, to honor their sacrifices and to teach our younger generations about the value of our freedoms. Specially designated wreaths for the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Merchant Marine and POW/MIA will be respectfully placed by a representative for each group.  After the ceremony wreaths will be distributed for the graves of veterans in Veteran’s Field.

The Civil Air Patrol partnership with Wreaths Across America is expanding in strength and scope each year. Like WAA, we take pride in honoring those who have served our country. CAP members help lead the way by selling wreath sponsorships and coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at locations throughout the United States and across the world. We provide honor and color guards for the ceremonies as well as thousands of volunteers to help lay wreaths. CAP is WAA’s largest sponsor, and with your help, the program and partnership will continue to grow and thrive.

Wreath sponsorship for this year is now open.  With your help, we can join together to meet all three aspects of this mission.  With your wreath sponsorship we will REMEMBER our fallen.  With your wreath sponsorship we will HONOR those who serve.  With your wreath sponsorship we will TEACH our children the value of freedom.  Your wreath sponsorship is only $15.00.  Can we count on you and your family to assist us financially, and physically on the day of the event?
