75th Anniversary Speaker Series:

The Starbase Composite Squadron, a local unit of the Civil Air Patrol, is hosting an open house from 6pm to 9pm, on Tuesday, June 28th at the Oklahoma Army National Guard Base, in Tulsa, OK located at 4222 N Mingo Valley Expressway.  Squadron Commander, Captain Gary Sutherland, would like to invite the community to attend and learn more about CAP. Members of the squadron will be present to greet visitors and explain CAP’s missions for America. CAP was founded on Dec. 1, 1941, and Starbase Composite Squadron is celebrating with a series of educational and leadership oriented guest speakers each month. The open house is a part of the 75th anniversary observance designed to create a greater awareness of CAP’s presence and contributions in the community.

Arthur Greeno

Arthur Greeno is the owner/operator of two Chick-fil-A restaurants in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Arthur has been involved with Chick-fil-A for 27 years. An owner for 23 of those, and going from a small store to being a multi-store owner was not easy.

He has accomplished two Guinness World Records, the latest being a 1140 Gallon 9-ft tall sweet cup of sweet tea and an Amazon Best Selling author for his latest book, Breaking Conformity.

Arthur’s mission is to Teach, Inspire and Serve. Teaching his team and others about how to HONOR their guests is an integral part of his business model.

Coming from a broken home, Arthur Greeno had to endure hardships in his family financially, as well as emotionally. His story of overcoming adversity is amazing. By the time he started high school in Tulsa, OK he had been to 9 different schools. He has scoliosis and wore his back brace all thru high school, put himself thru college, then got hired by Chick-fil-a. He started with one of the worst41tx6fG7HBL._SY344_BO1,204,203,200_ stores in the chain, and in 2015 did more in one month, than his first store did in an entire year. He now has multiple locations, multiple Guinness World Records and influences 1000’s of people each day through his locations, speaking, mentoring, and books. His book Dysfunctional Inspiration was written to share with his team how with the right decisions, they can change their world, just like Arthur did.
